The acid resistant pumps for dilute sulfuric acid have a wide range of options, such as engineering plastic pumps, ceramic pumps, F46 pumps, F26 pumps, but for concentrated sulfuric acid, only gas plastic pumps can be selected. Because it can corrode ordinary engineering plastics, while fluoroplastics do not corrode. Also, please note that the density of concentrated sulfuric acid is very high. 3. Hydrofluoric acid. Hydrofluoric acid is highly corrosive, so it is recommended to use a gas resin magnetic pump. In addition, the ceramic components of this series of pumps must be replaced with hydrogen acid resistant materials.

4. Nitric acid. Fluoroplastic magnetic pumps are also recommended for nitric acid delivery pumps, with rubber seals replaced with PTFE materials.

5. Acetic acid. One of the most corrosive substances in organic acids, ordinary steel will corrode severely in all concentrations and temperatures of acetic acid.

For high temperature and high concentration acetic acid and other corrosive media, high alloy stainless steel and gas plastic magnetic pumps can be selected. For example, CQB magnetic pump, CQ316L stainless steel magnetic pump 6, saltwater. The corrosion rate of ordinary steel in sodium chloride solution, seawater, and saltwater is not high, and it generally needs to be protected with coatings; The uniform corrosion rate of various stainless steels is also very low, but local corrosion may be caused by chloride ions.
